| Hanshin Koshien Stadium, opened in 1924, is the first facility in the Koshien District Development Project. The Stadium now enjoys nationwide popularity as the venue for the National High School Baseball Championship in spring and summer, as well as the home field for the Hanshin Tigers professional baseball team. The Stadium also serves as the venue for the intercollegiate American football championship "Koshien Bowl," outdoor concerts and various other large events. |

Since the beginning of the Showa Period (1926-1989), we have been developing various recreational and cultural facilities on Mt. Rokko, taking advantage of the mountain's superb natural environment and cool climate.
These facilities include Mt. Rokko Country House, an amusement park where visitors can enjoy miniature golf and day camps on spacious green fields; Mt. Rokko Alpine Botanical Garden, featuring rare alpine plants from around the world; ROKKO INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL BOX MUSEUM, a museum and concert hall of valuable, antique musical boxes; Rokko Garden Terrace, highlighted by a panoramic tower that commands magnificent views 888 meters above sea level, as well as restaurants and shops; and Mt. Rokko Artificial Skiing Gelande, the nearest ski slope to Osaka and Kobe operated during winter. |
