In 2005 Hanshin Electric Railway Co., Ltd. celebrated its centennial. Since its founding, the Company has provided excellent service as a major transportation artery linking Osaka and Kobe. During those 100 years, we also took the initiative in undertaking large-scale development projects in such areas as Koshien, Mt. Rokko and Nishi-Umeda, thus contributing to the development of locales along our lines.   We are currently engaged in a wide variety of businesses, including railway services, bus services, real estate-related business, sports and leisure business, travel services, retail operations, hotel management and various other services.
